HILLSBOROUGH, FLa. — Hillsborough County deputies seized 60 roosters and arrested four people following a raid on a cockfighting ring.
Deputies executed the search warrant yesterday and found evidence of the operation, including cages and what appeared to be an indoor arena.
The Tampa Bay Times reports the county's pet resource center took the roosters and four dogs.
Investigators are searching for a fifth suspect.
