The Lee County Sheriff's Office seized more than 100 marijuana plants and arrested two people after raiding a home in Lehigh Acres this week.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested Rita Cabrera and Baldemar Hernandez after a raid revealed 126 plants and an elaborate growing operation inside a home in the 1300 block of Prospect Avenue in Lehigh Acres.
Deputies were tipped off to the operation when an arrestee told them marijuana was being produced inside the home.
When deputies raided the home, they found Hernandez hiding in the attack. He was carrying a backpack containing more than $8,000.
Hernandez is facing charges including cultivation of marijuana, possession, renting a home to traffic drugs and resisting arrest.
