CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Port Charlotte teen is now behind bars after a month-long investigation revealed he had allegedly been sharing child porn over the internet.
18-year-old Gavin Pratt is now facing 20 charges related to child porn, and could eventually face even more charges once the investigation is complete.
The FBI Child Exploitation Task Force reportedly traced Pratt's actions online, and that led to authorities raiding his home on Knollwood Avenue Thursday morning. That's when task Force members served the search warrant and located electronic storage devices that contained hundreds of both child pornography images and videos that they say belonged to Pratt.
He's now being held in jail without bond.
He is facing 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 10 counts of Compiling Computer Pornography Involving a Minor.
