PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.-- A Port Charlotte Middle School student has won the local t-shirt contest for the Lung Cancer Research Council 5K run.
Kaitlyn Carey's design will be worn by all the volunteers and participants of the 5K on Saturday, November 5th.
Both first place winners of the local United States Power Squadron Poster contest, Katherine Zervos & Angel Zhang, have been chosen to represent Southwest Florida in the national competition.
