Police: Motorcycle thieves caught on camera in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police say surveillance cameras caught a pair of men as they stole a motorcycle in downtown Fort Myers, and they're looking for help identifying the suspects.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, during the early morning hours of Monday, September 19th, the two suspects seen in the pictures here stole a red and black  2016 Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle (Florida Tag 280-9RW) from the area of Main Street and Broadway Avenue in downtown Fort Myers.

The first suspect is described as a thin black male wearing red pants, a black shirt and a tan hat. 

The second subject is a white or Hispanic male wearing camouflage shorts and a gray shirt.

The Fort Myers Police Department is asking for anyone who may know the identity of either of the pictured suspects to contact the Fort Myers Police Department at (239) 321-7700, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or text message C-R-I-M-E-S (274637) Keyword FMPD. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
