MIAMI (AP) - Authorities are investigating after they say three separate shootings left two people dead and one critically injured in Miami.

Local media outlets report the shootings all happened Saturday night.

Miami police say the deadly night began just before 8 p.m. in Overtown, where an unidentified man was shot several times.

Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat says the man was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police say the second shooting happened about 15 minutes later in Model City, where arriving officers found 15-year-old Alder Hill with several gunshot wounds. Police say Hill was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The third shooting happened only blocks away. Police say 21-year-old Jaquan Leonard was found with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
