PINE ISLAND, Fla. -- A well-known seafood restaurant on Pine Island going to the highest bidder for $520,000.
The owners of Red's Fresh Seafood House on Stringfellow Road in Pine Island have closed up shop, and Thursday the restaurant was put up for auction.
Bidding began at $5,000 Thursday morning, but by the end of the day the price climbed all the way to $520,900.
The winning bidder is getting the completely equipped restaurant, exactly how people remember it. It also comes with a new $200,000 sewer system and liquor license, and includes a secondary building on the property consisting of a storage unit and residence.
