One woman is dead and another is facing serious injuries after a collision that took place overnight on Saturday.
The crash took place on Veterans Boulevard east of Atwater Street.
Florida Highway Patrol say 45-year-old Kelli Lafollette was traveling westbound on Veterans when she came into the path of another driver, 23-year-old Aspen Brantley.
Both vehicles collided before coming to final rest .
Lafollette was transported to Fawcet Memorial Hospital and later died.
Brantley was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and faces serious injuries.
Alcohol being a factor in this crash is still pending.
