LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A joint operation between Cape Coral Police and Lee County Sheriff's Office and other local, state, and federal agencies has led to the arrest of 21 individual for cyber sex crimes.  Charges are pending on 6 other suspects.

At a press conference Tuesday, officials discussed the operation.

The operation took place at an undisclosed home in Cape Coral. The men arrested all used chat rooms to talk to who they thought were minors, soliciting sex.

Four in Your Corner did some digging and found a hotel worker, a truck driver, a college student, and even a college professor among the men arrested in this operation.

The oldest man was 72, while the youngest was 19.

Two registered sexual offenders and one registered sexual predator were among the arrests.

One suspect traveled to Lee County from Port Saint Lucie before being arrested, and one suspect even rode a bicycle to Lee County from North Port "in sporadic rain" to meet up for sex with someone who they thought was a minor.

"I feel scared. Scared for my kids. Scared for the community kids," Jennifer Kurth, a Cape Coral mom, said.

Four in Your Corner's Lisa Greenberg tried to talk to some of the men busted.

Dominique Felicetti, 28, lives in southeast Cape Coral. No one answered the door at his home, but his neighbor said she never suspected he would behave this way.

"I didn't think he would do anything like that. He's very decent. When you need help, he's there to help you. He's been here in my house," Maria Rosario said.

These operations serve as prime examples as to why you should always keep an eye on your kids before someone else does.

"It doesn't matter how the person looks, or their character, or whatever, you never know what's in their mind, in their thoughts," Kurth said.
