CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have arrested a North Fort Myers woman and are searching for another suspect after a Port Charlotte man was robbed during a prostitution transaction.

25-year-old Kimberly Brown was arrested Thursday and charged with Armed Robbery.

Investigators with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office say she was contacted by the 18-year-old victim on May 8th after he responded to an ad for an escort service on a classified ad website.

Detectives say Brown picked victim up at his house, and after a short drive to Broker Court in the Gulf Cove neighborhood, a gun was put to his head by a man that was hiding in the back seat.

The victim surrendered the $180 intended for the girl, as well as his wallet, phone, and a ring.  He was then ordered out of the car, forced to remove his clothes, and then lie down on the ground.  The couple then drove off.

The victim could not provide an accurate description of the male suspect.

Investigators were able to use phone records to track down Brown via the website for Evil Empire Escorts.  She was arrested by detectives Thursday afternoon after showing up for an appointment made by undercover agents at an unoccupied house in Punta Gorda.
