PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - New details have been released about the murder of 18 year-old Kyle Farishian. Authorities are now confirming that Farishian was shot to death.
Farishian's burned body was discovered inside the 7-11 located on Bal Harbor Drive in Punta Gorda on November 1, 2015. Officials say a gunman shot and killed Farishian before dousing the store with gasoline and setting it on fire to cover his tracks. The bullet has been turned over to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for further analysis.
Officials released images of the suspect that were taken moments before the crime was committed, and the FBI is working to enhance the images.
