Nearly $800 worth of makeup stolen from Fort Myers store

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying an unknown male who entered a south Fort Myers store and helped himself to nearly $800 in cosmetics last week.

According to Crime Stoppers, surveillance cameras from the Ulta beauty store at Bell Tower Shops showed the suspect walking into the store just after 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, carrying a satchel over his shoulder. 

After walking suspiciously around the business for a few minutes, he started removing Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes and placing them in his satchel.  He then proceeded to another section of the store, where he placed 43 tubes of lipstick into his bag.  After being in the store less than five minutes, the man left in an unknown direction.

The total value of women’s cosmetics taken by the male suspect is just under $800.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years of age, 5’10”, 200 pounds with dark receding hair and eyeglasses.
