Two pelicans crash university's graduation ceremony

MALIBU, CA. --- Pepperdine University graduates getting a surprise on their big day, when two pelicans came flying in. A school videographer catching all the action from the April 28 graduation ceremony. 

One of the birds landed among the audience. A person tossed the bird back into the air , but it was quickly returned, this time landing on the red carpet at the center of the event. 

School officials tried to remove the bird, but it nipped at their hands and refused to leave for at least a few moments. 

Eventually the pelicans were ushered out and the ceremony resumed.
