Minor injuries reported in shooting near Houston school

Police responded to a Houston-area high school after one person suffered minor injuries in a shooting near the school.

According to KPRC-TV, the shooting was reported at 12:30 p.m. local time at an intersection near Eisenhower High School.

Reports indicate the injured person was grazed by a bullet. The man, who was not a student, ran toward the school seeking help.

An official with the Aldine School District said that students were never at risk throughout the incident.
