Reporters charged with child abuse after cocaine found in baby's system

An Arizona couple who were once TV news personalities is facing drug charges after tests revealed there was cocaine in their baby's system.
 
Oro Valley, Arizona police say 26-year-old Krystin Lisaius and husband Somchai Lisaius were indicted on charges of possession of a dangerous drug, drug paraphernalia and child abuse on June 9.
 
They made their first appearance in court on Monday.
 
Former TV news reporter Somchai Lisaius, 42, and  26-year-old Krystin Rae Lisaius, who worked at a Tucson station for a short time, have been charged with child abuse, possession of a dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia.
 
Riley said the baby was taken to the hospital on May 15 after being breast-fed and appearing to be in distress. Test revealed cocaine in the four-month-old's body.
 
The baby is living with a relative.
