NCH Healthcare System says a patient has tested positive for COVID-19.
They've received confirmation from the Florida Department of Health. The patient arrived at the hospital on March 11 in the ER and was admitted. The patient has been in isolation since March 13th at a NCH facility in Naples. Officials are investigating the patient's travel history, and exposure opportunities.
According to the Florida Department of Health, 106 Florida residents have tested positive for COVID-19. A press conference will be held Monday, March 16th at 4 PM.
