TAMPA, Fla. — — Schools in the state of Florida have been ordered to remain closed until March 30.
The order was directed by the Commissioner of Education, Richard Corcoran
Pasco County Schools made this post a short time ago on Twitter.
Polk County Schools will be closed during the week of March 16 and will remain closed the following week for their scheduled Spring Break.
Many Tampa Bay area schools are scheduled to be on Spring Break during the week of March 16.
The order will mean schools will also be closed during the week of March 23.
The Lee County Public School District has notified Fox 4 that it is holding a press conference at 6:15 p.m. EST.
