Companies are already hiring for the holidays. But with the unemployment rate low, they're having a hard time finding seasonal workers. That’s why several companies are offering big incentives to their seasonal workers.

Target announced they will be hiring 120,000 workers this holiday season. Their starting salary is $12 an hour with a 20 percent discount on all wellness items.

Gap is hiring 65,000 people this season, and all holiday hires will get 50 percent off all full-priced items.

Since online shopping is so big, companies like Amazon, FedEx and UPS are hiring thousands of people to help with shipping.

UPS announced its hiring 100,000 full and part-time employees this season.

UPS employee Randy Ervin started out as holiday hire 30 years ago and is still with the company full time. He says this year’s incentives are better than ever. UPS part-time hires will receive healthcare and retirement benefits. They are also eligible for a $25,000 tuition assistance if in school.

“You may think it’s just a seasonal opportunity," says Ervin. "Come in, work hard, pursue your dreams. There’s a lot of things at UPS you can make happen.”

Another big perk? The hours are usually flexible.
