CHARLESTON, S.C.--- U.S. Coast Guards rescued a man from a cruise ship 80 miles east of Charleston on Saturday.
Philip Silverstein, 53, was on the cruise ship when he started suffering from stomach pains and was in need of emergency care.
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Savannah launched and arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. Crews hoisted Silverstein and transported him to Medical University South Carolina for further medical care.
