COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A two-time Indy 500 racer will now spend the next 25 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of probation.
45-year-old Jon Herb has plead no-contest to more than a dozen charges related to child porn and sexual abuse. Herb had been scheduled for trial later this month.
He was arrested in North Naples back on October 2013. His wife turned him in after reportedly finding images of him engaging in sex acts with a four-year-old.
As part of the plea deal, the state dropped more than 200 additional counts. Herb placed 27th in the 2001 Indy 500 and 32nd in the 2007 race.
