NAPLES ,FLa.- Naples Community Hospital has confirmed two servers containing employee information has been exposed to potential unauthorized access.
Naples Community Hospital was notified that two NCH computer servers, located at the Cerner Data Center in Kansas City, may have been exposed to potential unauthorized access. These two servers contained an employee information database and a medical staff credentialing database. The affected individuals were notified by letter last week. NCH remains unaware of any attempted misuse of the information.
The Director of Marketing for NCH and a spokesperson for Cerner Data Center have both assured there is no risk to patients. The two servers did not contain patient or medical record information.
