FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A 25-year-old Lehigh Acres man died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash early Thursday in Fort Myers.

It happened just after midnight on Tamiami Trail near Petty's Way.  That's between Daniels Parkway and 6 Mile Cypress Parkway.

Florida Highway Patrol says the motorcyclist hit a median curb going fast.  The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Sebastian Rojas, was thrown from the bike and not wearing a helmet.

We're told the driver died on the way to the hospital.
