MARCO ISLAND, Fla. - Marco Island PD now says the 'shelter in place' request has been lifted after suspicious activity at the Marco Island Marriott.
The department sent out a tweet Monday morning telling guests and residents to shelter in place until further notice. They then followed that up specifying there has been no shooting.

The police and fire departments are responding to what they call 'multiple threats.' Police say no one has been inured and there is no active shooter.
