Fort Myers, Fla. -- Lee County deputies arrested a man who they believe has ties to one of the weapons recovered from the Club Blu shooting.
Police responded to a residence where they found 30-year-old George Thompson who was later arrested for violating his probation on an active warrant.
Authorities found 254 grams of marijuana, 22 grams of cocaine and multiple weapons.
Thompson faces multiple weapon and drug possession charges.
The Sheriff's Office released this statement saying, "Thompson had ties to one of the weapons recovered from the Club Blu shooting and is a suspected weapons supplier to a local gang."
His next scheduled court appearance is September 26th.
