FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Detectives have arrested a man they say shot and injured two people on Mother's Day after a reported online argument.
20-year-old Antonio Vega was arrested Thursday and faces two charges of Aggravated Battery for the incident.
On Sunday afternoon, 21-year-old Antwan Howard and 20-year-old Antonio Abrams were both shot on Edison Avenue following an argument. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives were able to track Vega down and arrest him without incident Thursday.
“We are pleased to announce the arrest of Vega in this case and bring the person responsible for this violent act to justice,” said Police Chief Dennis Eads.
