Two men were arrested early Friday at the Naples Yacht Club, charged with burglary.
Jimmy Lanard Williams, 33, of Opa Locka, and Tommy Figueroa, 45, of Miami, were arrested at around 2:45 a.m., after Naples Police officers were notified by security at the yacht club that two males in hooded sweatshirts were observed on surveillance cameras at a dock, going from boat to boat.
According to a police report, the man later identified as Figueroa ran from responding officers for about 30 seconds before stopping and raising his hands.
The report states that Williams was found crouching on the upper deck of one of the docked vessels, and that he was in possession of wire cutters, a power drill and gloves.
In addition burglary, Figueroa and Williams are charged with possession of burglary tools. Figueroa is also charged with resisting arrest without violence.
