A traffic stop led to the arrest of two people after it was reported that the driver was displaying a firearm, and hand gestures of a firearm to occupants in another car, Friday.

Troopers stopped the two traveling west on I-75 in Collier County.

While searching their car, they found a plastic bag full of credit cards under the passenger seat, FHP said.        A more detailed investigation revealed fraudulent credit cards, papers with written card numbers along with personal information and a bottle of hydrocodone without a prescription label.

A total of 26 credit cards and 89 gift cards were retrieved.

Antoine Owens, 35 (driver) and Lashay McDonald,32 (passenger) were arrested and taken to the Collier County Jail.

They face multiple charges including fraud, possession of stolen credit cards and possession of a control substance.

At this time, there is no information of a possible firearm.
