Deputies have arrested the third and final person involved in a string of armed robberies that took place in Collier County in June.
Melvin Presley, 32, of Naples was arrested on a warrant Sunday morning. He faces charges of armed robbery, grand theft, aggravated battery and grand theft with a firearm in two separate cases.
Deputies were able to link Presley to the armed robberies at Roses Food Mart on June 30th and at 7-Mart on June 18th.
On June 30th, Deputies arrested 34-year-old Jeremiah Vasquez of East Naples and 28-year-old Crystal Pages. The two are charged with armed robbery and grand theft in connection with the 7 Food Mart robbery.
Vasquez also faces charges of armed robbery, grand theft and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the Rose’s Food Mart robbery.
Employee said two men armed with handguns entered the store. One of them struck an employee in the head with a gun. The men then demanded money. The employee complied and the suspects ran out of the store, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
