LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Thursday, Lee County's superintendent will give an update on how things are going at one of the district's newest school sites.
Lee County Schools superintendent Greg Adkins will be on the grounds of what will be Bonita Springs High School.
The district has been working to get the area ready near Imperial Parkway and Shangri-La Road.
Dr. Adkins will update us on hiring faculty and staff, along with progress on the programming at the school.
The school's principal, Jeff Estes, will also be there as they lift the front entrance panels to the school. We'll keep you posted on what they say.
The school will be open for the 2018-2019 school year.
Their mascot will be a bull shark, with the blue and green colors reflecting the school's relationship with FGCU.
