LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- A reported shooting in Lehigh Acres Wednesday night has led to a homicide investigation.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the 800 block of Alido Avenue shorty after 11 p.m.
They arrived to find a victim with a gunshot wound. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the incident is isolated and there is no danger to the community.
Neighbors tells Fox 4 that a woman lives in the home with her children, and that a man was shot inside the home.
