A driver who identified himself as a Florida Department of Corrections probation officer is facing a DUI charge after being arrested on Friday.
The driver, Antonio Alfonzo, 31, was driving over 60MPH in a 45MPH zone in the area of Napa Blvd and Pine Ridge Rd, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said.
Alfonzo continuously switched lanes and ran off the side of the roadway before a deputy pulled him over.
"I approached the vehicle and made contact with the driver. I immediately smelled the pungent odor of alcohol emanating from the opened driver's side window," the deputy stated.
When Alfonzo stepped out of his vehicle his zipper was down and his pants were unbuttoned, according to a report.
He was arrested after performing field sobriety exercises and issued a 1st offense for speeding.
While en route to the Naples Jail Center, he proceeded to "berate and vaguely threaten" the officer, a report stated.
He has since been released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 14.
