A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the city of Fort Myers on Sunday, officials withe the City of Fort Myers said.
A 16 inch water main line at Pelican Preserve Blvd. and Camarelle Cir. is being repaired.
Residents and businesses in the vicinity Pelican Preserve, Plantation Sommerset and Plantation Bridgetown subdivisions are asked to do the following:
Boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes for at least one minute.
Bottled water can be used as an alternative.
The precautionary notice will remain in effect until further notice.
