FORT MYERS, Fla. -- One mother is dead after a house set fire in Fort Myers.
Emergency crews responded to a call just before 12:30 p.m. for a fire in a single family home in the 1700 block of Framingham Court. The home also sustained major damage.
The daughter of the woman who died was also home during the time of the fire.
The Fire Chief says they believe there weren't any working smoking detectors in the home.
