CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A missing boater was safely found around 1 a.m. Sunday after reportedly falling off a boat.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife, the man was found treading water about three miles south of the Myakka River.
Several crews searched for the man, who had been reported missing by others on his boat after disappearing around 11:30 p.m.
The man was not wearing a life jacket. Officials say he was cold and tired, but otherwise okay.
