FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- We're working to learn the condition of a man who almost drowned overnight.
It happened on Fort Myers Beach shortly after midnight Thursday night.
The Fox 4 Breaking News tracker got video of an ambulance on the scene, where a witness tells us he saw a man laying in the water behind the Lani Kai.
He says the man wasn't moving, so with the help of other bystanders, they pulled him out.
The witness says he then gave him a few chest compressions. "He started breathing... blood sugar low,” said Josh Barbeau.
The man was taken to the hospital. We are working to find out his condition.
