A Collier County man is accused of breaking into his own family's home with two others, tackling his brother to the ground, and stealing an AR-15 gun.
Collier County deputies said 24-year-old Jonathan Kaplan brought 23-year-old Joshua Brodowsky and another man to his family's home to burglarize it.
Kaplan's brother told deputies the three men burst into his bedroom, put him in a headlock, and ransacked the room searching for guns and prescription medication.
One of the men claimed to be a police offier.
The arrest reports say parts of the home were destroyed, and Kaplan's brother was left with scratches and bruises.
