NORTH PORT, Fla. - A man is accused of confronting a victim, and punching him in the jaw.
North Port Police say they were on the scene Wednesday in the 2900 block of Pascal Avenue for a great bodily harm call.
They say the suspect, Bobby Jerome Richardson, got into a fight with another man in the street.
The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police say the two men knew each other.
Richardson is behind bars on a $1,500 bond, facing a battery charge.
