A home in Lehigh Acres is surrounded by a few feet of water after several rain storms over the weekend.
Martie Thiessen says she's had to stay with her daughter because they had to shut off their water and air conditioning due to the water is getting too high. They also have dogs that have nowhere to go outside.
"Makes me want to cry. It's just very emotional and nerve-wracking and stressful," said Thiessen.
She called the county about a month ago to come out to try and clean and unclog the drains.
Now she's been calling the county again since the flooding started Friday trying to get someone back out here to fix the drains.
Four in your corner spoke with Cheif Robert Dilallo with Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue and he said the county called around 10 a.m. Monday morning to send someone out to take a look.
"That's pretty much our hardest hit area that we've found so far in Lehigh," Chief Dilallo said.
After speaking with the county again today, Martie Thiessen said they've moved her home to the top of their list and will send someone out to the property.
