FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A 2.19 mile stretch of Palm Beach Boulevard is the 16th-deadliest road in Florida. It had nine crashes and 10 deaths in two years.
This is according to a new study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The study found that the deadliest road in the state is part of I-95 Express Toll in Miami, where a 3.85 mile stretch had 26 crashes and 27 deaths.
The highest amount of deadly road sections were on I-95, with 240 deaths over 108.05 miles.
Pinellas County has the deadliest roads in Florida, with 4.57 deaths-per-mile.
