LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Troopers made an arrest Wednesday for a fatal crash last November after it was determined the man was drunk at the time of the crash.
65-year-old Allan Jones has been charged with DUI and Vehicular Manslaughter.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, on November 17, 2016, Jones was driving north on Treeline Avenue in the area of Jetport Loop when he veered across the median and hit a southbound car on the left side.
The car's driver, 89-year-old Aaron Williams of Fort Myers, died in the crash.
Investigators later determined that Jones' blood-alcohol content was .124, well over the .080 legal limit.
