Florida -- Corrine Brown, a former state Congresswoman is asking a federal judge to overturn her guilty verdict.

She was convicted of taking money from a charity and lying about it on her taxes. Her attorneys argued that the judge in the original trial made a mistake by removing a juror who said the "holy spirit" told her Brown was innocent. Prosecutors argued that judge had no legal choice but to remove the juror.
