SARASOTA, Fla. - A former Charlotte County Deputy arrested tonight, apparently while in his hospital bed!
This is the mug shot for former Deputy Casey Roberts. He was in the hospital being treated for a gun shot wound.
Charlotte County Deputies say they went to Robert's home on Friday for a domestic disturbance, when deputies arrived, they say he got angry and came toward them with an 8 inch knife, so a deputy shot him in the leg.
Roberts is facing a slew of charges including battery, aggravated assault on an officer, and child abuse without great harm.
