DESOTO COUNTY, Fla--
Florida Highway patrol is investigating a deadly crash in DeSoto County.
Troopers say the crash happened just after 4:30 in the afternoon Thursday on State Road 70.
Investigators say an Arcadia woman was going westbound when her car drifted into driver veered into another lane hitting a 42-year-old Christina McCue's vehicle and and killing a 12-year-old inside of the car. A 9-year-old is in the hospital in serious condition.
There is no other information at this time.
