FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A serious crash at the intersection of Palm Beach Boulevard and Buckingham Road has left at least one critically injured and is causing traffic tie-ups in the area.
The crash happened around 7:24 a.m. at the intersection.
Florida Highway Patrol initially had reported a fatality at the scene, but now says there is just injuries.
Several lanes of traffic are shut down in both directions.
Motorists are urged to avoid the intersection if possible.
