A 13-year-old was struck by a car that later fled the scene, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
It happened Saturday evening at the intersection of Richmond Avenue North and Windermere Drive in Lehigh Acres.
The teen was walking on Richmond Ave. North when a car struck the juvenile and continued to travel south on Richmond Ave. North, FHP said.
The teen was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.
