IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- Detectives are investigating a report in which a child said she was followed by a man on a bicycle as she walked by herself in Immokalee on Monday morning.

The man complimented her hair and asked her if she lived in the area. The girl continued walking in the opposite direction. The man started following her on his bike, asking her again where she lived.

The girl ran to a nearby residence. The man rode away on his bike.
