UPDATE (05/22/2017): Lee County Sheriff's Office has identified the people found dead inside the apartment as 71-year-old Phyllis Smithwick and 33-year-old David Smithwick.
Investigators say this incident is isolated and the deaths are not suspicious.

A death investigation is underway in Fort Myers after Lee County Deputies found two people dead inside a home.
The investigation is happening at a home on Brantley Road. Deputies were first called to the home to do a welfare check. Two people were found dead inside.
Detectives from Major Crimes Unit are on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Deputies say this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.
