LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Fire crews spent Sunday putting out an eleven acre fire, off Sunshine Boulevard.
The blaze ignited on W. 16th Street and Rush Avenue. Black smoke could be seen from houses in the area.
Fire officials said the wildfire slowed down, thanks to their pilot dropping water from above and firefighters on the ground. The fire is now 100% contained.
