Fire Crews are battling a mulch fire that broke out at Jones Mining near Immokalee Road.
The fire is 4 acres and contained to the property. A second mulch pile is now involved, North Collier Fire Rescue District said.
No homes are being threatened.
As fire crews continue to battle the brush, officials are asking the public to avoid hiking Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and Shady Hallow.
At this time, there is visibility on Immokalee Road but that might change, Collier County Emergency Management said.
High winds is blowing the smoke southward causing a smell to linger in South Fort Myers.
The cause of the fire is unclear at this time.
