PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office’s YouTube page may have a doppelganger.
In a Facebook note posted Sunday night, Sheriff Bill Prummell wrote that someone has created a fake YouTube account using his name.
The sheriff says that account posted several “inappropriate and disturbing comments" about something the sheriff's office is currently investigating.
He says his staff is working to get that account taken down, and is being investigated for possible criminal charges.
